About Marco Bertini

I am a professor of marketing at Esade, where I also serve as director of open executive programs. In addition, I am a senior advisor to Globalpraxis, a consultancy specialized in accelerating organic growth. As a behavioral scientist, I draw on insights from economics and psychology to help organizations build and sustain profitable customer relationships. My work emphasizes the critical—and often delicate—transition from value creation to value capture. I am the coauthor of "The Ends Game: How Smart Companies Stop Selling Products and Start Delivering Value"(MIT Press), a book that explores how technological and societal shifts are driving companies to be accountable for outcomes, not just offerings. My research has been published in leading academic and managerial journals, and my perspectives have been featured in media outlets such as the BBC, Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, Forbes, The Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, and USA Today. I was recently named to the Thinkers50 Radar, a shortlist of scholars “most likely to shape the future of how organizations are managed and led.” Earlier in my career, the Marketing Science Institute recognized me as one of the most promising scholars in the field. I hold a doctorate from Harvard Business School. Previously, I served on the faculty at London Business School, was a visiting professor at Harvard Business School, and worked as a senior advisor to the Boston Consulting Group.
