About Marco Cantin

Mr. Marco Cantin has more than 36 years of computing experience and obtained his Bachelor of Computer Engineering in 1988 at Université Laval. His activities have allowed him to demonstrate his competency as a Senior Software System Architect and a Privacy Architect in project management and architecture in the following sectors: insurance (Colective, P&C), defence and public safety, provincial government, government and parapublic organisations, public corporations and health care. He gained his experience in Canada, France, United States, Belgium, Ireland, China and Luxembourg. He worked on his most recent assignments as a Privacy Professional and a Senior Software System Architect with responsibilities for integration and system architecture, using the latest technologies, that is, knowledge management, geographic information systems, n-tier systems, distributed architectures, content management, Internet and object oriented techniques. He has proven himself to be a competent project manager, integration architect and technical architect on his assignments. As a project manager, he supervised an architecture team developing an integrated electronic warfare and intelligence architecture. As an integration architect, he supervised the integration and development of various systems on the TAC2IS and ISTAR-TD projects. As a technical architect, he built proofs of concept related to records management and the integration of various types of software.
