About Marco Garbo

In LASTMINUTE.COM headquarter finance department, I am responsible for the monitoring of group financial data consistency and I work to measure the profitability of group activities in accordance with economic and financial company goals. Main activities are typical ones of an headquarter management control, with particular focus on group costs- accounting and analysis of co.ge accounts- group budgeting and forecasting activities- monthly closing activity and variance analysis- analysis and responsibility for the balancing of all the items in the group income statement - assessment of new business opportunities and risks evaluations. On top on these activities I’m working on special projects related to the improving of the controlling system in terms of processes and systems supporting analysis with a strong focus on costs
