About Marco Inglese

Dr Marco Inglese currently is Associate Professor of EU Law at the University of Parma, Department of Law, Politics and International Studies, where he teaches in the vast domain of EU Law. Previously, he was a Visiting Professor at the Freie Universitat Berlin. Marco held a Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship to carry out postdoctoral researches at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) focusing on the EU (lack of) regulation of the collaborative economy. Marco has been Assistant Professor of International and EU Law at the China-Europe School of Law, China University of Political Science and Law (Beijing). Marco has been postdoctoral researcher at the School of Politics and International Relations, University College Dublin and at the University of Sarajevo. Marco was teaching assistant of EU law at the University of Bologna; visiting researcher at the University of Strasbourg; trainee at the Secretariat General of the European Commission, Brussels; trainee at the TMC Asser Instituu, The Hague. Dr Marco Inglese holds a PhD in European Law (University of Bologna and University of Strasbourg), a second level MA in international law and a Law Degree (University of Bologna). Marco's research interests lie in the area of EU digital single market, EU citizens' participation and EU health law.
