About Marco Korsten

Marco is an enthusiastic and creative entrepreneur/person with a passion for both people and technology. He is easy to work with and has a cooperative mindset. After graduating in Applied Physics, Marco worked in total for 15 years at Draka within the research and development department and the engineering department. Marco has a broad experience in the quartz fibre, tube and rod industry ranging from process knowledge upto machine development and logistical production improvements. Marco stopped working for Draka in 2013. In 2008 Marco started his own company, Infrarood Advies, solving process issues with a thermal camera within the industry and solving water, heat leaking issues for the private sector (houses). In 2013 Marco started his job at ASML within the supply chain engineering. Working now as a world wide field upgrade coordinator for the latest EUV machines. In this last role Marco is responsible to support, coordinate and train the field and operations by giving input for the implementation of upgrades (FCO's) worldwide. Marco acts as a FCO key-user: sharing knowledge and debottlenecking. He is independent in managing/consulting the FCO process and is owner of FCO topics in SAP.
