About Marco Leoni

After building some competences and skills on my fist working period, last 17+ years developed my career through the full I&D path in Philips (now Versuni from 2023), from mech. engineer role to project leader to Program Manager and now leading the I&D mechanical development team of Espresso appliances, including some extensions - TPD officer team taking care of masterdata creation and maintenace- R&D IT software and system management and maintenance- Prototype and sample creation and assembling (including 3D priniting management and maintenance)- Cost engineer team Key User of our main PLMs (both SAP -15+ yeasrs exp- and Windchill, and with experience on Teamcenter) and with deep knowledge on 3D modeling mainly with Unigraphic NX, I also had the role of Business representant for IT system migration (first time about PLM migration from Teamcenter to Windchill, and now about full transition of our systems to SAP for all working routines including project management, timewriting, requirement management, supplier communication.). Innovation development is also part of my background, with participation to several patent ideation and development, and now with strong involvement in research projects (both direct involvement and through my team support). Significant experience has been developed trough Problem Solving, preventing with DFSS and investigating and solving with DMAIC (green belt + black belt training), both as team member and team leader, trough technical and managerial tasks. Proactive and eager to take responsibilities and leading roles, I have a strong teamwork attitude and I still love to support design review and technical discussion. Something related to my work but not directly connected to my career: I had the role of CFO (Chief Fun Officier) for several years (when the role was available), where after being nominated by employees and shopfloor operators via survey, I've been organizing entertaniment events for collegues (e.g. sport event, funny moments, celebrations, Christmas parties) and also public events, e.g. the Porretta Coffee Festival consisting in two days of celebration of Coffee (music events, coffe expert\artist shows, engagement activities involving visitors) taking place on Porretta Terme with support and partnership of the Municipality. I like travelling and enojyng my free time with friends and in sports (in the past I played rugby for 10+ years, other than some other sport with friends out of competition) and I'm now vice president of a football team playing the national amateur league (from several years).
