I’m a management and finance professional with over 20 years of experience in credit risk management within the Portuguese mutual guarantee system, where I’ve developed a deep understanding of financial analysis, portfolio management and enterprise risk. My main areas of expertise and interest include corporate finance, business valuation, and mergers & acquisitions. I’m also an enthusiast of Artificial Intelligence, particularly LLMs, Generative AI, and Agentic AI, and I’m passionate about exploring how these technologies can reshape financial services, risk management, and decision-making processes. Recently, I’ve embraced a new professional challenge as Head of Monitoring, Collections and Recovery at Banco Português de Fomento — a completely new field for me within the banking system. This transition represents both a learning opportunity and a chance to apply my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to create value in a dynamic and evolving environment. Curious by nature, I believe that adaptability, collaboration, and continuous learning are key to navigating change — and I’m driven by the challenge of connecting innovation, particularly Artificial Intelligence, with sound financial strategy.
