About Marco Nicolini

Marco Nicolini, partner at Alma STA in the Rome office, is Head of the Corporate M&A Team. Marco advises Italian, multinational companies and funds on energy and infrastructure transactions, corporate matters, M&A, private equity transactions and real estate and he is an international advisor to leading US multinationals. He also has been involved in numerous M&A projects concerning the acquisition and disposal of Italian companies by Italian and foreign investors. Marco was advisor in some of the most significant privatizations in Italy, such as Telecom Italia, Mediocredito Centrale and Cofiri. He assisted Italian and foreign companies in the listing on regulated markets, in the initial offer of shares to the public, in the placement of securities and bonds, oversaw relations with the relevant supervisory authorities, in particular with Consob and Borsa Italiana. Marco is admitted to advocate before the Court of Cassation, is Italian and New York qualified, and gained an LL.M at Harvard in 1992.
