About Marco Perschke

Hey there! I am Marco, a Game Programmer based in Berlin. In spring 2023 I finished my bachelor’s degree in Game Design at the HTW Berlin. During my studies, I also enjoyed an internship at Point Blank Games, where we built the action-adventure Stray Blade, with a core team of about 30 talented developers. I stayed there since, working as a programmer. Initially as a working student and later got taken over into full employment. After we successfully shipped Stray Blade to various platforms, I transitioned to working on an unannounced multiplayer game, utilizing the full potential of Unreal Engine 5, while still supporting Stray Blade and refining its upcoming DLC. My interest in video games evolved into a passion for developing them long before I went to university. In all those years since, I worked on various game projects, both with a team and solo. I had the opportunity to focus on many different fields of the game development pipeline. Now I settled for programming as I love the diversity of this incredibly broad field. While still being able to make use of my generalist knowledge, especially when communicating with other departments. I enjoy working in a team because it leads to unique and exciting concepts and new challenges throughout each project. Now I am looking for new opportunities, to expand my knowledge and experience different productions while working on great projects together with an awesome team.
