About Marco Rainato

I started my career as Help-Desk specialist in T-Systems supporting the largest Italian Bank Institute for 5 years. I then decided to focus more on my passion for Apple product and its vision joining an Apple Authorized Service provider. At that time I was in charge of repairing Apple products delivering high quality service in a timely fashion. After a couple of year I was offered a job at the Apple Store in Milan as a Genius. That was the beginning of a long and exciting journey that brought me, 11+years later, in New York after 3 different stores and 2 countries. During my career at Apple I've been fortunate enough to challenge myself with a multitude of different positions like: trainer for new technicians in the NYC market, iOS Software QA engineer at Cupertino, Dev Ops (remote) and team leader at my Store in SoHo. I loved every single opportunity and developed new soft and professional skills in each and everyone of these career experiences. I just completed my first year at JetBlue Airline as IT Support Analyst and I've recently graduated from a Cybersecurity bootcamp at NYU. Thanks do this intense training I’ve deepened my knowledge on Subnetting, CISCO CLI for routers and switches configuration, VLANs, AWS and Microsoft AD, Linux Security, Network security, Ethical Hacking and more. I am a curious and adventurous person. I am constantly looking for something new to learn and challenge myself with. I love to travel, visit new places, discover cultures, and new food. I like to frame memories in photos because I am a visual person. I need music and a team to work with, but I also like my very own moments and to meditate. Photography with either my iPhone or my reflex cameras is a big part of my travels and my every day life. I am also a guitarist, but a definitely better photographer. I enjoy expanding my knowledge and skills set and working outside of my comfort zone no matter how stressful it is.
