About Marco Rivera

Creativity is a survival tool not everyone knows how to use." Anyone can be creative; the problem is that only some use creativity properly. I don't just use it for my career in the art/design industry; I use it in my everyday life; It's my survival tool. I solve problems, think of solutions, generate results, and get things done creatively. I have created solutions with my fellow innovators and world changers during my stint as the Creative & Marketing Manager position at GET (Global Electric Transport), an Electric Mobility Solutions company based in the Philippines and San Diego, CA. I helped create a service focused on education for the children of modern working parents in TODDS, an early education service company. I have also developed solutions and opportunities for several businesses and companies as a freelance graphic designer and marketing/branding specialist. With ten years of experience, each of my solo and collaborative projects has provided this growth and allowed me to establish myself within this competitive industry- As an avid golfer, I can relate how I play the game to how I work- I work hard to get the results that I want. Golf is one of the most challenging games; you need patience, resilience, and discipline to be good at it- It helps me control my emotions. One mistake can make you spiral into frustration, affecting your whole game. However, I learned how to control my emotions to think through them and get a better result- Creativity is key. I don’t know what scenario I will be dealt with in my next shot, so I have to think quickly and creatively before I execute the next step- I use my tools wisely. In golf, I have my own set of clubs which I have already mastered. But sometimes, I need to use different or new clubs I am not used to, so I make sure I practice and learn them to use the latest tools to my advantage- There are good days and bad days. I don't always play well, there are days when I don't shoot the score I want, but it doesn't stop me from continuing to pursue and love the game. That's how I am with work, it's not always going to be easy, but I will still do my best and deliver.
