About Marco Verdesi

I am Founder and CEO of Verdesi and Partners, and since 2005 I have worked with the 24 Ore Business School, in the role of research coordinator and lecturer in a number of masters for students and executives in Rome and Milan (Communication and Institutional Relations, Marketing and Digital Strategy, Political and Economic Journalism; Energy and Environment, Arts Management, Food & Wine). Previously, I was partner of Extra Comunicazione e Marketing, Member of the Board of SIC (Società Italiana di Comunicazione), Adviser to Minister Lorenzo Ornaghi at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Member of the Board of Vivilitalia, General Manager of Sec & Partners, Director of Sec Spa and Senior Consultant at Hill+Knowlton Strategies. Over the last 20 years I have managed the communication, in terms of building and managing consensus, of some of the most important projects in the field of Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure, Waste and the Environment, also coordinating complex project teams in English. My experience in 25 years of business also extends to corporate communication, crisis management, public affairs, CSR, media relations and press office, alongside leading companies in the national and international market in different product sectors. After graduating in Political Science from the Sapienza University of Rome, I furthered my studies by taking postgraduate courses in Economics (Economic Policy and International Economics), and the History of International Relations and International Public Law that allows me to better understand and interpret the different requirements the market and institutions place on public and private organisations with which I now find myself working alongside. I attended the European School in Brussels and I have a professional working knowledge (written and oral) of English and French, together with a good level of Spanish.
