Growing up in Mendoza, Argentina, I spent my afternoons helping my grandfather build and repair furniture. After school, I would walk five minutes to my grandparents' house, where I immersed myself in the activities of his backyard workshop. Each day, he assigned me various tasks like cleaning, organizing, sanding, and painting. At the end of the day, he would acknowledge my strengths and provide feedback on areas for improvement. I vividly remember struggling with a cabinet drawer one day. Removing it was a challenge, and I couldn't seem to get it back on its rails. Observing my struggle, my grandfather offered invaluable advice:"To fix something, you first need to understand how it works." The following day, I dedicated an hour to studying how the rails attached to the drawers, their connection to the chest, and how factors like wood expansion due to environmental conditions affected their performance. With this understanding, I successfully replaced and installed the rails in less than an hour. The memories of that amazing backyard shop, with its view of the Andes mountains and the mixed scents of freshly cut wood and nearby vineyards, will always stay with me. Most importantly, I will never forget my grandfather's teachings. Today, I am a highly motivated cybersecurity professional with over fifteen years of experience in customer service and management within large team-led environments. I am versatile, bilingual, and emotionally intelligent, with cross-cultural work experience. Passionate about learning and embracing new challenges, my strongest skill, as taught by a wise man, is understanding how something works in order to fix it properly.
