About Marcus Benjamin Eichenberg

I have a range of experience in international, federal, and state environmental law that includes litigation at all levels. My years of work as a lawyer include private practice consulting, nonprofit consulting, a summer at the Stanford Environmental Law Clinic, policy work for a Washington think tank, and my current position as an associate attorney for a public interest environmental firm in Oakland, California. I have extensive experience commenting on agency decision making, compiling administrative records, writing complaints and pretrial motions, writing trial briefs, pursuing appeals, and tracking environmental issues in the courts and writing amicus briefs. I have specific experience with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), the Endangered Species Act (ESA), the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act,(WSRA) and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), with additional experience with most other commonly litigated environmental statutes.
