As an IT professional for over 20 years I support network infrastructure, in particular the Host Mainframe Communications Server, commonly known as VTAM and TCPIP, which provides network data communication services.(Think of what I do as vehicles on major highway intersections, headed to and from cities. Imagine making sure every vehicle can get to its destination.) My mission is to exceed in client delivery services with end-to-end network management and solutions regarding opportunities today and positioning for opportunities tomorrow.(I see a problem as an opportunity. I see a task as a chance to improve. My mission is to take advantage of these opportunities and make it better.) My typical day is solutions delivery with responsibilities in leadership, consulting, instruction, problem determination (PD), problem source identification (PSI), network architecture and data protocol support.(I’m part of something bigger. There is always collaboration with specialists, departments and business lines to change mainframe networking at its core; giving it greater accessibility, availability and reliability.)
