Marcus Cox is one of the Lead Estimators for C&H Asphalt Maintenance. Marcus also has experience in the world of music and the Hospitality industry. Here is a little more. Marcus is Top Flite Empire’s, host and Co Founder. Marcus loved music and entertaining people from a young age. As a youth, Marcus acted in plays and sang in his church choir, and at times was the animated class clown. However, along with all the fun, there was also struggle. Marcus suffered from an illness that hospitalized him, and on several occasions, he even had to be revived. From that moment on, Marcus lived his life with no regrets and in full pursuit of his dreams, knowing God saved his life for a reason. Marcus is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, and it was during his college years that Big Sex became a larger than life personality. He began developing his musical talent and started to perform with his friend, Sean Garris aka King Tef. He quickly assumed role of hype man and they started performing at nearby colleges, parties, open mic nights, and various music competitions in Colorado. As Tef joined with Johny Rocketz and Hypnautic to create Top Flite Empire, Big Sex became the group’s host and hype man. While the path has not always been easy, Marcus has remained motivated and credits his drive to succeed to his mother, Caroline, who always told Top Flite to keep doing what they were doing and never give up because they have the talent to succeed. Marcus continues to learn more about the business of music. He has managed local and national artist showcases, talent shows, and fashion shows, and has booked shows for upwards of 70 artists in a given month.
