I’m an East Bay native with a simple philosophy that guides everything I build: art is about expression, while design is about solving problems. As a strategic visual designer, I specialize in taking complex, messy systems and turning them into clear, cohesive brand experiences. My background in illustration and multimedia has evolved into a focus on creative leadership and brand governance, the "infrastructure" that allows large organizations to communicate effectively at scale.In my current role within the Peralta Community College District, I’ve moved beyond designing individual assets to building the frameworks behind them. I spend my time developing brand guidelines, centralized asset libraries, and governance structures that empower our campus communities to move faster while staying aligned. Whether I’m partnering with leadership on large-scale restructuring or launching student-facing initiatives, I approach design as a strategic tool for organizational alignment and engagement.I am currently deepening this expertise through graduate work in strategic communications, focusing on audience analysis and long-term brand stewardship. I’m driven by the challenge of bridging the gap between creative execution and high-level institutional goals, and I am particularly interested in roles where design can drive measurable organizational impact.
