About Marcus Glantz

I would describe myself as a business and people-oriented person and I would contribute with a broad knowledge of finance as well as senior leadership. The last seven years I have worked as an interim consultant within financial management in various sectors and sizes with very good output, almost all my assignments have been extended. The formal titles have been CFO or business controller, all of them including management consulting due to different kinds of transformations very close to the underlying business. In parallel I´ve also started (co-founded) a small tech-company – we did not succeed but I learned a lot! This background gives me a unique competence in understanding different sector’s challenges and what’s driving growth and profitability. I’m certain this is a key skill to understand various types of customers and to understand how to optimize the business. My financial background after Stockholm School of Economics comes from +5 years in audit/due diligence (KPMG) and Corporate Finance (Nordea Investment Bank). Heavy workload and short deadlines in M&A and due-diligence projects which tied together financial, strategic, and legal aspects, taught me how to work efficiently and transform all sorts of data into valuable insights. This ability has been used continuously internally when I’ve used my competence creating several successful internal training programs within business acumen. My business understanding in combination with strategic mindset has been very successful in many negotiations with vendors. My management background comes from 5+ years as CFO as interim consultant, Senior Executive Assistant and CFO/COO in a small Nordic group. As CFO I work closely with the CEO and management team and have participated in all board of Directors meetings. This has developed my understanding of how to structure and steer a company from an organizational point of view as well as the need of continuously developing processes to for example improve the cashflow.
