Marcus Gutierrez, also known as DJ Marvel, has been working on building his DJ career for the past 13 years. DJ Marvel has made his way from being a self-taught DJ to now being the full time Colorado Rockies official gameday DJ. Marvel’s preparation and finely-tuned skill set allows him to enter any situation with a progressive attitude and contagious positivity. His ability to seamlessly blend a range of genres, his eclectic taste, and his dedication to exciting crowds with sounds, new and classic, all come together to create an experience that you can only get from DJ Marvel. Music-lovers come to hear Marvel’s range of music including: EDM, hip-hop, country, pop, rock, classics, funk, and R&B. DJ Marvel has also graduated Magma Cum Laude with a degree in Audio Production from the Art Institute of Colorado where he was allowed to continue learning about his love for music. It is with this knowledge that he also shares his love for music with others. He gives lessons in live performances, producing, audio engineering, video production, and more. Since the age of 14 Marvel has performed at a variety of venues, including many different corporate events. He has shared the stage with many artists and DJs. He has opened up for concerts and venues which have included fellow lineup artists such as Ying Yang Twins, Bobby Brackins, Ape Drums, Wuki, and Token. DJ Marvel has also DJed for corporate events like Hermes Worldwide, GUESS, Oakley, H&M, Capital One, and more. Reading a crowd and understanding how to create a fun environment are just a few things you can expect from DJ Marvel. One thing is for sure, expect any night to be a great night if DJ Marvel is in the booth.
