About Marcus Harry

Proficiencies and Courses I am proficient with the skills of time management, efficiency, communication, and patience. Football has taught me how to effectively manage my time, allowing me to balance my football career with academia. College arithmetic enhanced my ability to write, think critically, and solve problems, granting me the ability to complete all tasks as efficiently as possible. Football has also taught me how to be patient and communicate both on the field and off of it. I was the center for the Lamar Cardinals, so I had to analyze the defense quickly in order to communicate their movements. I would also tutor my then fellow athletes in areas such as chemistry, biology, and math, solidifying my proficiency in those areas as well. Major I am currently a Criminal Justice major (BS). I seek to obtain a Master's degree in Criminal Justice (BS). I seek to specialize in an aspect of linguistics whilst pursuing my Master's degree. Upon obtaining my Master's degree, I intend to spend one year as a police officer once I obtain my Master's degree, then I will pursue my aspiration to become a member of the FBI once my year of policing has been satisfied. Education I graduated from Longview High School, transferring to Tyler Junior College to play football. After two semesters, I transferred from Tyler Junior College to Lamar University, an FCS-Division I football program. After a year-and-a-half of playing football at Lamar, I decided to transfer to UNT in August of 2021 as a full-time student to bring my dream of becoming an FBI agent to a reality. Personal Life I consider myself a simple man. I am focused on school as I am determined to push towards research. I enjoy biking/cycling, and reading whenever I can. I find school to be enjoyable, especially classes that are difficult; it fills me with a sense of purpose.
