About Marcus Harvey

Understanding the "why" in whatever I do is something I value most. Failing, learning and teaching are common cycles to any significant success in my life. Although I come from a background in varying industries such as Education, non-profit, media and, IT - my last 3 years as a QA Automation Engineer in software testing have been a driving force of my passion. Regular interactions with the testing community, continuous learning through courses, experimenting and implementing different test architectures, and contributing open-source projects are just some of the things that have fortified the foundations that my ISTQB Foundation and ISTQB Agile Tester certifications have provided. I work with an incredible Agile team, where my role is to help us understand the purpose of what we're building and to provide critical information to build software that has integrity and brings value to people. This starts from contributions to the Story creation process, methodical test planning, a short reliable Continuous Delivery feedback loop and clear concise bug reporting.
