About Marcus Herrera

I’m a dedicated and highly experienced safety professional with a strong background in occupational safety, health, and environmental management. With over a decade of experience in the construction, manufacturing, industrial, DOT, and military sectors, I have successfully led safety programs, conducted risk assessments, and implemented workplace safety initiatives to ensure compliance with OSHA 1926, 1910, EM 385-1-1, NFPA 70E, and other regulatory standards. I currently hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of the Incarnate Word and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health/Environmental Management from Columbia Southern University. I am a Certified Safety & Health Official (CSHO) in both General and Construction Industry and possess a broad range of certifications, including OSHA 500, OSHA 510, Industrial Hygiene, Confined Space Entry, and Fall Protection. I’ve completed over 400 hours in occupational, health and safety courses. Also, in the process of getting my associate safety professional (ASP) license and then my certified safety professional license (CSP) Throughout my career, I’ve served as a site safety health officer and Safety Manager on multi-million-dollar projects, overseeing hazard control programs, industrial hygiene monitoring, emergency response planning, and employee training. My leadership has significantly improved workplace safety cultures, reduced incidents, and ensured regulatory compliance. With a proactive and hands-on approach, I’m committed to fostering a safe and efficient work environment while continuously improving safety standards in any organization.
