About Marcus Johnson

I have over 15 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary high performing teams developing novel technologies that address large-scale complex global challenges. My current work focuses on understanding the future impact of climate change on aviation, developing drones that can put out wildfires, and developing algorithms to automate the air traffic management system to mitigate the increase in aircraft flying in the future. My previous professional experience has been focused on designing, analyzing and flight testing advanced control law algorithms for manned and unmanned vehicles. I have worked various vehicles in the commercial, military, proof-of-concept, and research domains. My previous academic research was focused on developing strategies for making intelligent decisions in an uncertain environments. Particularly focused on using reinforcement learning and Game Theory to develop mutually beneficial strategies to coordinate between multi-agent systems with interdependent dynamics.
