About Marcus Larsen

I am a goal-oriented and lifelong learner pursuing dual Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics at Lakeland University, with emphases in Data Analytics and Cybersecurity. My experience spans IT infrastructure, network administration, and technical support. With a strong foundation in Python and SQL, I enjoy applying my technical skills to real-world challenges and the continuous improvement of systems and processes. In my current role as Technology Specialist at Partners for Community Development, I develop, maintain, and troubleshoot organizational IT and telecommunications systems, serve as a liaison with external IT contractors, and ensure secure, efficient operations for staff across multiple counties. Alongside my technical work, I am passionate about education and community involvement, serving as an academic coach, faith formation leader, and active volunteer within my parish communities. I have been recognized with multiple academic honors, including Outstanding Student of the Year in both Mathematics and Religion, and have presented collaborative research at conferences and undergraduate research events.
