About Marcus Ng

I am fascinated by opportunities to help startups create value through the frameworks of lean design thinking and innovation, as well as teamwork and leadership attributes honed from my military background. My passion lies in the intersection between tech and entrepreneurship; I have seen first hand how technology has helped the F&B industry weather the downturn brought by COVID-19, leading to my aspiration of contributing towards driving digital transformation and innovation in Southeast Asia to benefit the growing ecosystem of businesses, consumers, employees, and infrastructure alike. I have experience working with startup founders to drive sales operations and business growth and led various growth initiatives including spearheading a new business channel. I have developed skills in B2B sales and operations strategy, B2C marketing, growth hacking, and I find great joy leading cross-functional teams and projects to achieve business objectives. Outside of work, I enjoy staying up to date with the latest startup and VC developments, and investing in continual learning through books on entrepreneurship and behavioural science, among others. Otherwise, I am heavily involved in all things related to football: playing, watching, analyzing. My experiences studying abroad, working with colleagues of diverse backgrounds, and lastly the time at INSEAD with fellow leaders from all around the world have enabled me to cherish and value diversity.
