About Marcus Olive

I am an infrastructure professional, who started in civil engineering, and is now passionate about renewable energy. For over 10 years, I have been responsible delivery of a portfolio of projects of $300m per annum. First and foremost, I am a people leader. I have a proven record of directing, unifying and creating a shared sense of purpose across project delivery teams. I have worked for civil contractors, engineering consultancies, and asset owners. I have worked in Australia and internationally. I am also passionate about making a positive contribution to my community. I serve as a Board Member at the Seddon branch of Bendigo Bank, which is for-profit banking with a community-centric vision. Through this involvement, I have had a part facilitating over $1.3m in sponsorships and grants to our local community. Further, another of the bank’s community investment vehicles is the Community Bike Hub https://communitybikehub.com.au/ where I am one of the Directors, and also act as Treasurer. The CBH repairs, recycles and donates bikes to those in need in Melbourne’s west, as well as providing bike education and maintenance classes to high school students.
