I am a contracts legal professional with Kimberly-Clark. Before this position I was a senior contracts manager for Tyson Foods indirect procurement. I lead a team in negotiations of complex agreements and other legal documents with minimal management oversight or involvement. Just a few of my duties include: · Prepare drafts of agreements, amendments, addenda, contractual terms and exhibits that are moderate to complex and those that are non-routine with minimal management oversight or involvement. · Advise and provide counsel to suppliers and contractors on contractual and enforcement issues. · Review, verify and escalate extraordinary provisions for required approvals, as needed. · Manage, review, verify, and maintain required approvals for extraordinary provisions. Before Chesapeake I worked as a Contracts Advisor for Shelby County Schools in Memphis Tennessee. Previous position was with AECOM at the Waste Isolation Pilot Program (WIPP) in Carlsbad, New Mexico. WIPP is the only facility of its kind in the world. I provide procurement and served as an advisor with technical/compliance expertise in transuranic waste management. This includes interpretation, evaluation and compliance of RCRA regulations (40 CFR 191and 194) promulgated specifically for this unique site. My duties include work with Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Clean Water Act (CWA) and the Clean Air Act (CAA). Previously I worked with the 5th Judicial District of New Mexico as a law clerk. I have extensive experience in trials. I have sat on several misdemeanor and felony cases. To date, I have sat second chair in 7 felony cases. The cases include: Possession/Distribution of Child Pornography Felony Fleeing and Evading Criminal Destruction of Property Felony DWI 7th (4) Aggravated Driving Will Intoxicated My interpersonal communications skills are literally award winning.
