About Marcus Pierre

Perseverance has shaped who I am. From overcoming early life challenges to learning to face adversity head-on, I’ve discovered the value of resilience and determination. I recently earned my Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from Quinnipiac University, where I also completed my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice. My passion for digital protection and youth empowerment led me to found Digital Defenders Inc, a nonprofit that educates young people on internet safety and cybersecurity. In my current role, I focus on proactive problem-solving and planning for potential cyber threats, bringing together my interests in technology, risk management, and public service. Whether through education, in the field, or behind the scenes in cybersecurity emergency planning, my mission remains the same: to use my skills, story, and purpose to build safer, smarter, more resilient communities.
