About Marcus Ribeiro

Passionate about technology, family, people and music! Currently responsible for an SAP infrastructure team, which recently participated in one of the largest migrations to AWS in the world. Taking care of this core system for the largest fuel distribution company in Brazil, BR Distribuidora S.A, a huge challenge that I always do with great enthusiasm and commitment. My routine consists of managing this environment, the suppliers that support us, the ITSM processes and defining the priority of things according to BR's strategy. In addition, optimizing the details of the cloud where our worload is performed, costs, sizing and all the activity and fun this technology brings together. I have been working with Information Technology since 1996 in medium and large companies, with a lot of experience in IT infrastructure, lately with a greater focus on cloud and SAP. I've worked for companies like PETROBRAS, FINEP, Kasznar Leonardos, Globo.com, Origin, among others. Main activities developed in these companies: Service level management, Infrastructure Architecture, operation team management, maintenance and IT infrastructure operation, such as: BASIS, Solution Manager, Operating Systems, Virtualization, Networks, Datacenter, ITSM, and so on. I have an MBA in strategic IT management from FGV and several certifications, of which I highlight the technologies of: Cloud, SAP, ITIL and Microsoft, always seeking to go beyond the basic ones. All of this allows me to have a very general view of this universe, with specialization in several of these disciplines, always focusing on services and strategic alignment.
