About Marcus Scott

As a student-athlete at UC Berkeley with aspirations in law, finance, and business management, I’ve faced my fair share of obstacles that have shaped who I am today. After suffering significant injuries—a broken tibia, fractured patella, torn tendons—and fighting through months of grueling recovery, I’ve learned the true meaning of perseverance. As a Black man, I’ve also faced societal challenges that required me to go the extra mile to prove myself. These experiences have sharpened my ability to think critically, manage time effectively, and solve complex problems—all of which are invaluable in the legal and financial fields. With every setback, I’ve developed the discipline and tenacity to apply myself fully in the pursuit of my goals, whether in analyzing financial data or crafting legal strategies. I’m eager to bring this determination and skillset to a career that bridges law and finance, and I look forward to continuing to grow professionally.
