About Marcus White

As an Application Specialist at City of Fairfax, I oversee the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications for the finance department. I evaluate and test proposed configuration and related system changes, using my business acumen and technical skills. I also perform routine tasks, such as testing new applications and system updates, process documentation, systems configuration, and reporting. I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Educational/Instructional Technology from Old Dominion University, and I leverage my knowledge and experience to create and design training materials and manuals, deliver training sessions, and assess program effectiveness. I have enhanced the skillset of new and existing clients by conducting web-based virtual training. I have also developed a new training manual for customer service staff, and implemented call center policies, operations, and standards. I am proud of my contributions to the success and performance of the finance department and the city as a whole. I am passionate about learning new technologies and applying them to improve business processes and outcomes. I am a collaborative, creative, and focused professional who fosters productive relationships across cross-functional levels.
