Background
About Marcus Whitworth
After spending four years in the Marine Corps, I enrolled at Texas State University. In December 2013, I received a B.S. in Geography-Resource and Environmental Studies. I minored in biology and received a certificate for water resources. During my four years of college, I worked full time hours as a Firearms Buyer/Seller for Cabela's. At Cabela's I became comfortable with all forms of communication and customer service. Each year I received the highest possible annual ratings by my superiors. After graduating I was hired by Compliance Resources Inc. as an Environmental Field Inspector where I was tasked with conducting inspections and reporting issues to site supervisors as well as acting as a liaison between our clients and the regulatory agencies. Finally, I decided to pursue a childhood dream and apply to become a Texas Game Warden. I was accepted into the academy and plan to graduated in August, 2016. I was assigned to Webb Co. and am now a Game Warden in Laredo, TX.
