About Marcus Wilson

One thing I believe is that our beliefs shape our experiences and our experiences validate our beliefs. Sometimes a slight shift in our belief system is all we need in order to achieve the results that we are aiming for. Growing up, I felt marginalized and ostracized by others, causing deep-rooted insecurities and a lack of self-belief. Unfortunately, these struggles continued into my adult life, leading to an abusive relationship that left me feeling trapped and powerless. One day I hit rock bottom, emotionally, mentally and physically. I knew at that moment in time that something had to change….a shift needed to take place. I began trying to heal and learn what it truly meant to love myself and love who I am, but I still felt confused, hurt, angry & unworthy of even that type of love. I realized that I had no idea where to begin as far as healing, growing and shifting my perspective on my life and on life in general. However, through this journey of healing and self-discovery, I found the strength to reclaim my life and rediscover my voice. Through many tears, hurts and upsetting memories of trauma, I learned the importance of self-care and how to prioritize my own well-being. Self-discovery is an important part of the healing process and often leads to newfound strength and empowerment. I knew one thing was for certain, I was discovering who I AM. Through my own journey, I discovered tools and strengths that I never knew existed within me. I was Unearthing Me. Despite feeling broken and defeated at times, I learned to love myself from the ground up and tap into my inner resilience. I discovered the power of growth through overcoming all of these things that were holding me back as well as being afraid to be seen and I realized that my experiences could be used to actually be able to help others. That's when I decided to become a coach, combining my passion for personal growth with my desire to make a difference in the lives of others. I enrolled into Health Coach Institutes dual certification program, ‘Become A Health Coach’ in 2021. It was the most liberating decision I’ve made in my life so far. I got to learn how to navigate not only others maps of life but my own map as well. I understand the struggles of overcoming traumatic experiences and aim to empower those who have faced similar challenges. My goal is to help individuals rediscover their own worth and find the courage to reclaim their lives. By sharing my story and guiding others through their own transformative process, I hope to inspire a ripple effect of positivity and change.
