About Marcy Glenn

Appellate practice and legal ethics have been my lifelong professional passions. I handle civil appeals and motions practice and issues analysis at the trial level. For the past thirty-plus years, I have represented clients throughout the United States, including in the United States Supreme Court, the federal courts of appeals, and a number of state appellate courts. My appellate practice covers a broad variety of substantive areas, including constitutional law, natural resources law, employment law, commercial litigation, environmental law, election law, and intellectual property. Drawing on years of service to the courts, the bar, and my clients on issues related to the practice of law, I also advise lawyers, law firms, and other entities, and serve as an expert witness, on issues of legal ethics, attorney discipline, and legal malpractice. I have chaired the Colorado Supreme Court's Standing Committee on the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct since its creation in 2003. I'm a former chair and current member of the Colorado Bar Association Ethics Committee, and a former chair of the Committee on Attorney Conduct of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. From 1993 through 2001, I chaired Holland & Hart's Ethics and Conflicts Committee, on which I continue to serve.
