About Marcy Roberts

Marcy has many talents that work hand in hand with her beauty and personality. After moving from Detroit to New York she started studying at the world famous Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater with Judith Jamison and trained at Barbizon Modeling School. Marcy has choreographed, styled, performed and co-directed music videos for various artists, including Diana Ross, Boyz II Men, R. Kelly, Keith Sweat, Jodeci, Bobby Brown, Guy, Kool Moe Dee, Hi Five, C&C Music Factory and Heavy D and The Boyz. She also performed as a dancer at the Grammy Awards with LL Cool J. She has also performed and made appearances on Soul Train and The Arsenio Hall Show. She has had extra roles in student films and “Shaft” starring Samuel L. Jackson. Marcy is a former member of the group “7669” on Motown Records debut album “EAST From a Bad Block”. Their single “So High” reached Billboards top 40. They performed with the likes of Snoop Doggy Dogg and Dr. Dre. The album featured several tracks that Marcy co-wrote and co-produced. Marcy has traveled and performed around the world to countries like Japan and England. The group has also appeared in several entertainment magazines like Vibe, Right On, Black Beat, Word UP and Hype Hair. Appeared on several television shows and was the first female group to grace the London cover of Time Out Magazine. Marcy attended The New School for Social Research/Parsons School of Design.
