About Marek Bobula

I began my journey in the exciting field of software-defined radio at the University of Technology in Brno back in 2004. Since then, digital signal processing of radio signals has become both my passion and expertise. In 2010, I successfully obtained my Ph.D. degree in radio electronics, focusing on the efficient utilization of narrowband channels. Throughout my career at Racom, I have had the opportunity to work on several fascinating projects, starting from the initial concept phase all the way to production. Collaborating with my colleagues, we have been privileged to develop wireless communication products such as RipEX, RAY, RAY 2, RipEX 2, and RAy 3. My primary focus lies in designing physical layer algorithms that promote efficient usage of the radio spectrum. My experience encompasses various aspects, including Matlab and VHDL programming, radio and microwave circuitry design, essential radio parameter measurements, and their relations to equipment design. I have also collaborated with my colleagues from the Department of Radio Electronic, Brno University of Technology, resulting in the publication of several technical articles, even in prestigious journals. In 2017, I was honored to be invited to become a co-owner of the Racom Company. Since then I have been involved in strategic planning and marketing. I consider it an immense privilege and a source of satisfaction for me to have the opportunity to cooperate with interesting people in transforming ideas from the realm of imagination into the real world, contributing to the daily service and assistance of people worldwide.
