About Marek Gimza

With about 20 years of experience in configuration and Release management I have worked with all types of tools: o Installed and configured a variety of tools and systems. o Developed tools, APIs and interfaces such that the appropriate Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) procedures can be easily managed and adhered by the R&D groups. · Even though a company will have one vision, each project group/department will have their specific objectives and requirements regarding their input to the Software Development Life Cycle. With this in mind, my position has always allowed me to diversify and choose the appropriate language, IDE, database, and OS that would best match the customer requirements. · Using my past education and experience I have designed a framework/model called SwRelease that supports a strategy to host and manage the tools and procedures required for different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. I have also found time in my private life to be a restaurant owner who learnt how to deal with sub-contrators,"clean-toilets", wash-dishes and serve customers :)
