Background

About Marek Hraska

Obtained Ph.D. degree in Oct 2007. Started as CRA at Quintiles Prague, in Jan 2007. In Aug 2010 assigned as regional clinical team lead in global trial, and since that time participated as regional or global clinical team lead or project manager in various international phII/ trials in oncology indication. In June 2014 joined SOTIO biotech company, transitioned in Oct 2014 to newly acquired CRO Accord Research (sister company to SOTIO) to further continue in clinical development of SOTIO pipeline. Within Jun 2016-Jul 2018 worked within PPD hem/ onc project management dept. In Aug 2018 joined back Accord Research/ SOTIO to continue further on clinical development of its pipeline in ovarian ca indication. In Jan 2020 circle has closed, when Accord Research depts. were transitioned back to SOTIO. Personal desire/ goal: in spring 2014, during one CZ onco conference, one of presenting profs stated very interesting sentence: “… very likely, sometime in future, many of us sitting in this room will reach some its own cancer …”. There is constant need to develop new and more efficient therapies to fight various types of cancers. I would like to contribute to development of such new therapies.
