About Marek Kania

I’m a Computer Science and Spatial Planning engineer by education. I have over a year's experience as a software developer and programmer in a company that creates environments for designing fiber optic networks using GIS tools. For the last year I worked mainly with Python language, writing plugins and scripts, allowing to develop functionality of GIS application and with SQL language, which I used to develop and maintain extensive spatial databases (PostrgeSQL+PostGIS). I’ve also had a direct contact with clients. I’ve conducted few trainings on the system in english, including one delegation trip to England (conducting one week training at the customer's premises). Privately I am interested in writing web applications using such technologies as Python+Django, React+Redux+JSX, Java-Script, HTML, CSS. I have a lot of experience in computer graphics, which gave me a sense of aesthetics and the ability to independently prepare the necessary graphic elements. Currently I'm looking for a job that will allow me to develop more focused on creating web applications, and designing systems in Python language.
