I serve as Executive Creative Director at Crypto.com in Tokyo, where I lead the creative vision for the world’s fastest-growing cryptocurrency platform, now serving over 150 million users. In this role, I balance formal leadership with a hands-on creative approach, ensuring our brand’s storytelling and design resonate globally. My journey spans 20+ years in the creative industry. I spent a decade at Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo crafting campaigns for world-class brands like Honda, Nike, Google, MTV, Spotify, PlayStation, Sony, and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. And several years after as an independent creative for brands such as Apple, Airbnb, and NYX to name a few. During that time, I wore many creative hats – from designer and art director to photographer and animator – helping bold ideas come to life. That multidisciplinary foundation shaped my belief that great creative leaders must also be great craftsmen. At Crypto.com, I’ve helped grow our global brand studio into a lean, decentralized, and highly capable internal powerhouse. We oversee everything from global campaigns and reactive social content to product branding, GTM launches, and education – all while embracing generative AI tools and LLMs to drive scale and innovation. Our future-forward creative spirit has contributed to the company’s growth from 5 million to over 150 million users in just four years. Whether I’m developing a brand narrative or mentoring a creative team, I approach every project with the passion of a craftsman and the curiosity of an inventor – striving to make work that’s both conceptually sharp and culturally relevant.
