About Marek Pisa

Czech language software translation professional experienced in all tasks that large scale software translation in a global software company brings. Oracle language group yearly processes billions of words, translates dozens of millions of which to Czech is 1M+. My main role is Czech language End-to-end translation process - translation project coordination, LSP management, quality, testing, standards, terminology, proofreading and specialized translation tasks. NMT and AI are integrated into translation and content-creation workflows; I evaluate agents and prompts, create and tune prompts, and develop role-based chat and agentic workflows. I define agent requirements and prototype solutions using Codex and Cline in VS Code. My other roles are related to source content - mainly UI for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - source quality, translatability, preventing and fixing source language bugs and resolving translation questions. The last one was creation and maintenance of translation quality tracking system and methods for whole language portfolio. From 2025 I lead team maintaining internal knowledge sources, building and maintaining web pages. I'm excellent with Office, can design web pages and have knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS, XML, Python and limited SQL.
