About Marek Premus

I’m truly glad to have the opportunity to lead HR at @Alza and collaborate closely with people across the entire company. Together with my team, we’ve transformed what used to be a small, recruitment-focused unit into a full-scale HR department of around 70 people across all Alza countries. Today, we manage almost all aspects of modern HR, hire several hundred to just over a thousand people annually, and actively contribute to our business results and long-term vision. We regularly receive awards as a Top Employer, along with other recognitions like Best Retailer and Best-Managed Company. I’m straightforward, creative, and my approach blends caring for people with smart use of data — because I believe understanding both is key to getting things right. I care about my people not just at work but also in their personal lives — because one influences the other. I’m always looking for smart, out-of-the-box solutions, because I believe that’s what truly makes the difference and helps drive business success.
