Mechanical industry (automotive & machinery): Extensive field experience in analyzing and solving manufacturing process problems caused by magnetic fields (examples: EB-welding, arc welding, technical cleanliness, eddy current NDT, MPI NDT, PVD and galvanic coating, stamping, machining, powder metallurgy etc.). Experience in providing demagnetization know-how to automotive OEM's and the largest suppliers in an international environment. 2.) Heavy industry: Solved a lot of different problems related to residual magnetism in steel mills and provided demagnetizing solutions (examples: rails, bars, heavy plates, coils, seamless and welded pipe manufacturing). Knowledge of production issues caused by residual magnetism. 3.) Space, defence & research: Developed degaussing services and technologies to solve tasks for hightech customers (including NASA). Extensive knowledge in using highly sensitive fluxgate magnetometers and developing pulsed demagnetizers for achieving minimal residual magnetism in the range of nano Teslas. 4.) Oil & Gas: Field experience in analyzing the reasons of bearing failures (related to magnetism) of large offshore centrifugal compressors. Providing degaussing solutions and best practices to minimize the problem.
