About Marek Scheffer

A few years ago, during university, I challenged myself with a question: “Where do I want to end up after completing my studies?”. I was looking for something different, something process-focused, something with fast-paced innovations in which you are never done learning. So I ended up in IT-Consultancy, specifically SAP consultancy. It brings me everything I was looking for, it supplies me with plenty of challenges both from business and technical perspectives. It provides a seemingly endless box of innovations to expand my knowledge, with SAP products such as SAP S/4 Public Cloud and SAP Analytics Cloud. Besides SAP skills, my role also enables me to participate in other programs. Such as providing training and mentoring new hires during our SOA People Academy. Ensuring knowledge sharing within the SOA People group as a community lead, and providing social interaction as a Practice lead. Besides my focus on innovations, I also have substantial knowledge and experience in SAP S/4 HANA. All gathered during multiple projects, ranging from support, improvements, new implementations (greenfield), and system conversions. Being lead consultant for several projects. Improving both my hard skills (configuration) and soft skills (giving workshops, training, change management). I can confidently say, this makes me a good consultant. Alongside my projects, I like to challenge myself in expanding skills outside S/4HANA, and focus more on ‘SAP products of the Future’. From my perspective, SAP S/4 Public Cloud and SAP Analytics Cloud are very powerful tools. Which are only now scraping the surface, But wait until you see the future!
