About Margaret Conte

I am a registered dietitian located in St. Louis, Missouri. I have a B.S. in Applied Nutrition, an M.S. in Dietetics, and completed a Dietetic Internship with a concentration in pediatrics. I earned the Diabetes Certificate for additional coursework and research in the field of diabetes from Ohio University, and the Plant-Based Nutrition certificate from Cornell University. Advanced lactation training as well. I work as Chronic Disease Program Director for the Gateway Region YMCA where I develop, organize, and implement high quality Community Health programming. I have worked in a community health center doing both outpatient nutrition appointments as well as appointments for the Women, Infant, and Children’s Supplemental Nutrition Program (WIC). I am skilled in delivering nutrition and lactation counseling using a variety of educational materials and resources, tailored to the individual’s needs. I believe that nutrition and health are not a one-size-fits-all approach, and I believe in the value of listening first.
