About Margaret Oswald

Tired of scattered, chaotic and unfocused projects? I bring order to the messiest of initiatives, remove roadblocks along the way, and lead projects to success. To accomplish this, I focus on clear communication, tight risk and financial management, and a willingness to adapt quickly. My passion for Project and Program Management sparked from the first excel sheet I created to re-align an abandoned project. The detective work required followed by the satisfaction of presenting the results had me hooked. Since then, I’ve led software engineering and IT projects from inception to delivery, in sizes big (2M+) and small (<50k). After collecting nuggets of practical wisdom along the way (always find time for risk management, manage your teams with transparency), and months of studying, I earned my PMP. Outside my main role leading IT projects, I also serve on the Women in Leadership Initiative committed to gender equality in hiring, promotion and corporate opportunities at Alithya. Additionally, I lead the development of a Corporate Indigenous Engagement Program which seeks to build corporate and community relationships between Alithya and Indigenous groups in our industry.
