About Margaret Smith

I help teams leverage their collective neurobiology to elevate performance of every member and of the whole. I help high performers adapt and grow through challenge. I help people experiencing disconnection from their bodies as a result of trauma, chronic stress, injury, grief, injustice, and loss to reconnect with their own inner resources. I'm an applied social and behavioral scientist, as well as a yoga therapist, teacher, and educator who uses the ancient wisdom and tools of yoga along with the contemporary science of interpersonal neurobiology to provide a complementary and alternative approach to mental health, well-being, and high performance. I've provided sport psychology services for medal-winning teams at the Rio, Tokyo and Paris Paralympic Games, supported collegiate teams to nine national championships and other titles, worked with military and rehabilitative sport at the DoD Warrior Games, and I teach applied social science courses for Auburn University's Alabama Prison Arts and Education Project and the US Army and University of Louisville's Master Educator Course.
