Canadian Armed Forces Member since 1983. Former Commanding Officer of 334 Oromocto Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron where I managed a team of CIC Officers and civilian volunteers to lead a group of cadets. I was responsible for overseeing the organization of training activities for cadets, the financial planning and budget management of the 334 Oromocto Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron and Pipe and Drum band. Achieve community engagement and alignment to meet the aims of the Canadian Cadet movement. I've worked in several different appointments including Training Officer, Administration Officer, Band Officer, and Supply Officer with the following units: 170, 176, 177, 191, 334, 856 RCACS and 2647 RCACC. Training Officer - Responsible for preparing a year-by-year training syllabus, as well as the safety and well-being of cadets both at the local training area and in the field. As such I have experience creating and executing training plans and exercises and ensuring policies and procedures of the Canadian Cadet Movement are followed. I have a proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects, and I have ensured the proper documentation of the cadets' training development through the Fortress program used in cadet training. Supply Officer -Management and administration of uniforms and training equipment. Movements Officer – Responsible for a fleet of vehicles for the duration of summer training and the timely movement of cadets from home to summer training. General duties to include but not be exclusive to providing mentorship opportunities and keys to succeed and become competent young adults. Developing new leaders to assist with delivering the cadet training program. Recipient of Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers 2018 Conflict Resolution training, biathlon and marksmanship coaching, biathlon officials training Duke of Edinburgh Award Leader I have learnt that communication is key to understanding the needs of people and is essential when given the responsibility of leading or managing a team or project. I have a good knowledge of various systems, and I am a patient, helpful individual who is always willing to work hard as part of a team, by being passionate about my work. I am also very enthusiastic and motivated. I am a hardworking, trustworthy and a quick learner who is calm under pressure. I have excellent communication and customer relationship skills. I am able to work in a team or as an individual.
