Hello! My name is Margeate Work, and I have over 17 years’ experience in the mortgage industry. During that time I have found that building relationships has been the key to building a business and a clientele base. Treating clients with the utmost importance and care is my first priority. Open communication between clients and referral partners is paramount and has allowed me to provide the expertise I have gained in the industry to provide a high-quality customer experience. Many first time home owners don’t realize they will likely need my services for a refinance, whether it is to lower monthly mortgage payments, tap into the equity they have earned to remodel, help their children with college, or even to take a well-deserved vacation. I strive to be your “Lender for Life.” My career started out as a teller at Sacramento Savings. After assisting through four mergers which led me to a management position at the local branch, I was recruited by a mortgage broker in 2001. Thus began my mortgage financing career. In 2006, I made a move to Wells Fargo Mortgage and Relocation Division. This opened up many new contacts and partners for life where I specialized in the high balance and jumbo markets while still maintaining my specialty products of FNMA/FHLMC, FHA, VA and first time home buyer programs. I worked in the Sacramento/Roseville area and throughout the Bay Area servicing many relocation clients and companies with their residential mortgages.
