About Margo Ruiter

As a Social Designer and Colourlight Therapist, I work at the intersection of personal healing and social transformation. My mission is to design environments, programs, and experiences that foster connection — between people, communities, and the natural world. With a background in holistic therapy and creative process design, I use light, color, and creative methods to help individuals and groups reconnect with their authentic potential. My approach bridges science, art, and consciousness, bringing systemic awareness and embodied change into both personal and collective contexts. What I Do Social Design & Systemic Work In my work as a Social Designer, I translate healing principles into community design. Through projects and my foundation, I focus on how social structures can support well-being, creativity, and inclusion. Colourlight Therapy & Healing Life Design With over 25 years of experience, I guide clients and professionals in exploring the healing potential of light and color. My colourlight system integrates the spectrum and earth colors, working with both the familiar chakras and the lesser-known leg and arm chakras to restore balance, grounding, and vitality. Education & Writing Author of In je kracht door kleur (A3 Boeken), and founder of the accredited program Healing Life Design, a professional training for coaches, therapists, and educators who wish to deepen their personal and professional impact. Mission To bring light — literally and metaphorically — into human systems: individuals, organizations, and communities. By combining design thinking with healing methodologies, I aim to contribute to a more connected, grounded, and creative world.
